Common Exclusions for Gap Insurance
Gap Insurance like any other insurance can provide a real benefit but it will also come with some exclusions. After listening to our customers feed back we have decided to set out some of the most common exclusions. This list is not designed to be fully comphrensive and we would also request that you check your own vehicles eligibility before your buy any gap insurance policy.
We have listed a few examples of the most common forms of exclusions as a quick guide only.
We can not provide any Gap Insurance under any circumstances if
- Your vehicle is not in Glass's Guide (or for 'Shortfall' Gap Insurance, Parkers Guide)
- You do not have fully comphrensive insurance.
- You use the vehicle for competion, rallying or racing
- If your vehicle is over 3500 kg in weight ( this does not certain cover for motorhomes)
- If you vehicle is left hand drive
- If your vehicle is a grey import
- If your vehicle is a Bugatti
- If your vehicle is a Hummer
- If your vehicle is a Maserati
- If your vehicle is a Maybach
- If your vehicle is Lamborghini
- If your vehicle is a Honda NSX
- For private hire or reward ( other than dedicated Taxi Gap Insurance)
