The Fiat 500L Living
June 19, 2013
The Seven Seater, stretched version of the Fiat 500L, is the sixth member of the ever expanding Fiat 500 family.

The Fiat 500L Living has been officially unleashed, the largest member of the Fiat 500 family, which is rapidly expanding. The seven seater model joins the Fiat 500, 500C, the 500L, 500L Trekking and the 500 Abarth in the Fiat 500 line-up. Not forgetting the 500X compact SUV, the seventh member of the Fiat 500 family, which is due to arrive before the end of the year.

This model is really a stretched version of the 500L model, the dimensions are 4350mm, which is 203mm longer than the regular 500L model, though it is 170mm less than the Grand C-Max from Ford. This has allowed engineers to be able to squeeze the third row of seats in, though mounds of space should not be expected back there, Fiat has called it a 5+2 layout, which hints that the third row should really be for children. The seats, which are optional, can fold flat onto the floor, leaving a loading area with 638 litres of space.

The engine options for the model include two petrol, a 94 brake horsepower 1.4 litre and an 104 brake horsepower 0.9 litre TwinAir, along with two diesel models, the 104 brake horsepower 1.6 litre Multijet and the 84 brake horsepower 1.3 litre multijet. There will be two trim levels available, Lounge and Pop Star, as well as 19 different colours, of which 11 are two tone combinations. There are six interior trims and 15 types of alloy wheel design also available with the model. There are also flush optional kit extras such as sat-nav, a rear camera and leather upholstery.

Orders for this model will begin next month, at the same time that the model will be making it's official debut at a private event. Prices for the model have not been revealed as of yet, though a small hike above the Fiat 500L, which starts at £14,995 is expected for a 1.4 litre Pop Star version.
