Grand Theft Auto V, Have you got yours yet?

If you haven't got your copy of the brand new Grand Theft Auto installment, then it is probably safe to say that you will be waiting a while for it, supermarkets, Game stores and pretty much anywhere else you can buy the game were sold out in a matter of hours when it was released at midnight on Tuesday. 

Grand Theft Auto V actually delivered the largest first day retail sales of any Take-Two interactive Software (The parent company of GTA's developer, Rockstar) title.

Stores across the United Kingdom opened at Midnight last Tuesday for an exclusive launch of the very widely acclaimed video game, which allegedly cost about £170,000,000 to make and market, which is more than blockbuster movies like Avatar, Amazon actually sold out of the game on just pre orders. 

Industry experts have estimated that it could actually generate around £1,000,000,000 during it's first year, with fans of the game predicted to purchase around 25 million copies, which will break current records. 

The chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive Software, Strauss Zelnick has said that everybody at the company are extremely thrilled with this initial response that has been evoked from Grant Theft Auto Five. He said that again, the Rockstar Games team has completely outdone themselves, setting a whole new standard of innovation, excellence and creativity for the entertainment industry. 

Since it's debut in 1997, the Grand Theft Auto Series has actually accumulated sales of 135 million copies. Since it's release in 2008, Grand Theft Auto Four has alledgely sold over 25,000,000 copies. 

The new Grand Theft Auto installment has received excellent reviews across the board from critics who have actually called it one of the best video games that has ever been made. 

Games editor at IGN.com, Keza MacDonald has said that not only is Grand Theft Auto Five an extremely enjoyable game to play, though it is also a sharp tongued and intelligent satire of America. It refines everything that Grand Theft Auto Four had brought to the table half a decade ago, though it is a lot more accomplished, it is also very ambitious in it's own right. 

Kevin McFeely from GAME expressed that the firm opened as many branches as was physically possible on the launch of Grand Theft Auto Five. He said that GAME customers really want to get their hands on this. He expressed that people seem most excited to try things on the new Grand Theft Auto that they may not have been able to do before. 

A staff member at GAME actually described the shop on launch night as complete chaos.
