The Vauxhall Astra Extreme is coming
January 30, 2014

In some exciting news today heading directly out of the,car manufacturing team known as Vauxhall, we are pleased to report on the news that the Geneva motor show will be the spotlight for the brand as they officially pull the curtain off of the all new Vauxhall Astra Extreme, and it is officially revealed for the first time to general public and media alike ahead of the vehicles official launch. The word that is circulating is that, this vehicle will be the fastest ever Astra model on our streets whilst remaining street legal at the same time. The vehicle itself is as of yet to go into production but, it has been announced it will indeed go into production on the tenth anniversary of the launch of the VXR trademark.

What will go into the new Extreme Astra manufacturing process ?

In regards to this being rumored to be the fastest all round, street legal vehicle from Vauxhall, it is quite clear that this model's manufacturing duration will be aimed majorly on the performance and power aspect of the car aswell as throwing in a little bit of comfort and luxury at the same time. So with that being said, how is the process looking for the Extreme Astra ? . Well first we see the welcome additions of a,2.0 litre, turbo engine which in total will carry,296 units of brake horse power and developing 400Nm of Torque too.

The car comes complete with a roll cage that replaces the original rear seating and, a carbon fibre bonnet and door skins prove this to be one of the neatest looking additions to the Vauxhall range in quite some time. A few pieces of thrown in kit also include the likes of, a carbon fibre rear wing,a carbon front splitter, a choice of either carbon fibre or alloy wheels, and finely finishing the car off nicely,a quad exhaust system. With all of these perfect attributes combined, we believe this model will prove to be a great contending rival for the likes of, Mitsubishi and Ford who also offer some similar powerful vehicles.

Regarding the interior of the all new Astra, we see the additions of,racing style bucket seats and a set of six point racing harnesses.

Price tag and release times of the Astra Extreme

Sadly we are still waiting on the news revealing an official release time on this vehicle and a price tag that is set to run along side it but, we do expect to hear more on the matter of this all new Vauxhall Astra Extreme throughout the duration of the upcoming Geneva motor show, where we expect to hear more on the likes of the Outlander and Shogun from rival Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Ford and  vehicles from other top rival brands including the Vauxhall Astra Extreme.
