Lexus has revealed pricing information for the new NX model, with the six model line-up from the company starting at £29.945 and rising to £42,995.

The company recently announced the prices for the brand new Lexus NX model. It is the Japanese manufacturers fist attempt at the market of mid size Svs that are dominated at the moment by the likes of the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. The NX will be coming to showrooms in October of this year.

What can you expect to receive with the Lexus NX line up ?

Only the NX300h will be offered from launch with an 195 brake horsepower hybrid power train, which features the familiar petrol 2.5 litre engine and electric motor. If you are opting for all wheel drive, there will be an additional electric motor fitted which will power the rear wheels of the car. The company is claiming a 54.3 mile per gallon fuel economy and CO2 emissions of 120g.

Following the cars launch initially, in March the company will be adding an NX 200t to the model range. It will be the first model from the company that will feature a brand new 235 brake horsepower 2.0 litre turbo charged petrol engine though it will be available in F Sport trim only, with all wheel drive. The price of the the NX 200t will be announced at a later point this year.

There will be five trim options for the model made up of S, SE, Luxury, F Sport and Premier that will be offered also. The entry level S model which has a starting price of £29,945 features standard kit like 17 inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, LED headlights, DAB radio, remote touch controller and media display, along with an audio system with eight speakers.

If you opt for the SE trim for 31,495, then AWD will be fitted to the model as standard along with large 18 inch alloy wheels, automatic windscreen wipers, integrated roof rails and heated seats. More premium luxury spec, which costs £34,495 adds parking sensors, privacy glass, keyless entry and LED fog lamps. So with that in mind we believe that with what we know so far these Lexus models could very well prove to be ideal rivals for the likes of Mercedes with their C Class line up.
