The new R8 from Audi has been leaked

We all know that Audi has big plans to reveal their second generation R8 model for the very first time in Geneva next week. Exciting news for car fans this morning though, as an image of the brand new model has been leaked online. The images which were posted on an online forum show the new model in a bright Red paint design travelling down the road. We also see studio images of the car in a Metallic Blue scheme aswell. It is safe to say that judging by looks alone, the new model is looking very much as good as we thought it would. The model will look to step things up by offering both a V8 and V10 engine range from the time of launch with strong possibility of the V8 coming turbocharged. New weight reduction features including carbon ceramic brakes and a carbon fibre bonnet will be brought into the mix. The new chassis included with the second generation model will also help to make the driving experience more stable thanks to the same chassis that can also be found in the Huracan model from Lamborghini. The new image which emerged online revealed features we were expecting such as LED daytime running lights, new body creasing and the large air intakes underneath the headlights. More confirmation on the technical side of things will be revealed in Switzerland.
