Renault spied testing the new Megane-Ferrari engine news-Fiat pickup truck spied
March 27, 2015

Over the past number of months, the Ferrari brand have been doing some work to their current range of V8 sized engines. This work has meant that the engines were now starting to come in turbocharged form. With these new units and more power being developed, this led to some strong speculation that the company may have been planning to do much of the same with their current V12 engines. Today however the Italian sports car maker have put an end to these rumours by stating that they are not going to be making the V12 units turbocharged anytime soon. However new technology could be brought forward for these engines in the future which will bring electric features in order to produce lower fuel emissions and result in a smoother response. No more is known on the new technology as of yet but this was revealed by a source close to the brand.

Our first glimpse of the new Renault Megane

Brand new images have been posted online which shows the brand new Megane model from French manufacturer Renault that is all set for the 2016 market. The Megane is one of the most popular vehicle choices for buyers in Europe and the model has proven to be a key ingredient when it comes to success for the company ever since it was first launched in 1995. New images however reveal the next generation of the car which looks to carry a somewhat different design structure than we have seen before. As for what these design changes are, we can see that the brands Clio model and their Captur vehicle have helped to add to the design as demonstrated by a much wider grille at the front end of the car, curving door designs and a new lip spoiler design at the back end of the car. Renault have not revealed specifications for the car when it comes to the technology on offer but when we look at the higher end trim levels, it is expected that an all new nine inch touchscreen system will be up for grabs. A seven inch screen will be offered as standard. The brand new Megane model is set for a grand launch in showrooms from next year and a debut at a big motoring event is expected for this year with the Frankfurt Motor Show in September expected to be it.

Fiat spied testing a new pickup truck

It was out in the Snowy weather conditions this week that Fiat Chrysler were spotted out and about testing what appears to be a new pickup truck design vehicle. The car is remaining much of a mystery vehicle for the time being as the car was originally spotted carrying a lot of heavy disguise. The only thing we know for the moment is that a new Fiat pickup truck is being planned for a launch next year here on the European market and this new vehicle could very well be it. We are looking forward to hearing more information on this new model and as soon as we have more news on the car, we will have it here for you at Easy Gap.
