Renault Megane 250   The Renault Megane 250 has been designed to be specifically rival the Ford Focus RS. The Renault Megane 250 will be the Focus RS biggest direct rival in the car market. BMW have seen it's most successful year in it's history. The company have stated that 2012 was it's best year of all time after they posted a rise in profits and revenue. The owner of both Rolls-Royce and Mini saw their pre-tax profits rise by almost 6% to 7.82 Billion Euros and revenues up by almost 12% to 76.8 Billion Euros.  Group sales for 2012 were 1.84 million vehicles, which is an increase of almost 11% on 2011. A new Bentley SUV could be built in Bratislava, rather than Crewe, it was revealed at the annual press conference of the company. Wolfgang Schreiber, who is the chief at Bentley explained that a positive decision on the SUV was expected very soon. The new model would be entering production in 2015 or 2016 if the production sign off is granted within the next few weeks as it has been expected. Car insurance claims for damage caused by potholes have doubled in the first month of this year, in comparison to the same month from 2012. A survey that was carried out by the AA indicated that around 1,000 claims were made just four weeks into 2013.  The survey analysed almost 23,000 AA members, 1/3 of them reported that they had experienced some problems and damage to their vehicles due to the conditions of our roads. Volkswagen XL1   Volkswagen have released plans to build approximately 250 examples of the XL1. The XL1 model will be used to look at a range of test ideas and figures as it will be fitted with a hybrid diesel engine along with a lightweight build and aerodynamic design.
